Based on a true story from 1993 — an Old Timer’s Hockey team is duped into traveling to Russia and is forced to play a “Miracle Game Rematch” on live TV with the original 1980 Russian Olympic team. Except the old-timers are NOT the miracle team, and this is NOT a real rematch. Now, they must save face, learn diplomacy, and decide if they can live up to their patriarch Stan’s dying wish…to play every game like it’s your last.
